Bizzare Aquarium New Zealand is a site primarily setup to collect information on Freshwater Aquarium Fish that have qualities outside of the normally kept species.

Such fish will include: Elephant Noses, Pufferfish, Knifefish, and well anything that looks, or has bizarre features!

The site will in the future expand to include profiles on most of these fish, and hopefully utilise "owners opinions/advice" on the fish.

This is "MOTLEY" - nothing bizzare about a Satanoperca Jurupari, But now is a perfect chance to display a few pics of my fish!

16 June: Started on two new profiles.

The Blind Cave Tetra, and the Celebes Halfbeak. Both still need to have some work done on them......

Coming soon, will be some pictures of my new tank, on a step by step basis, as I slowly get it up and running......

Bizzare Aquarium New  Zealand hopes to become a useful resource for those fishkeepers who either own, or intend to own some of the more "odd ball" fish available in the hobby.

As time goes by, profiles of such fish will be added to this page,your help in supplying information/photo's/views on such fish will be welcomed.

Full credit will be given for any submitted material.

At this stage, I'm open to any suggestions to help this page get off the ground, and even suggestions of Bizzare fish to add to the profiles at a later date.

Well, not really...more of a riverchest (seeing as its not a marine tank).

This is a small tank that I have set up inside a seachest. The current occupants are a couple of freshwater Dwarf Puffers.

I'll add more details and photo's as time goes by.......
